All orders are usually dispatched within 48 hourse of order and delivery is usually made by a 48 hour courier service. During exceptionally busy times the dispatch time could be extended but we will always endeavour to get your rugs to you as quickly as possible.
Your delivery charge will be added at the checkout and is based on the following:
Small Parcels 0 - 2kg - £4.95
Due to the nature and size of our product range, the delivery cost is determined by weight. Any rug weighing less than 2kg will be charged at £4.95. As a guide this will cover most fly rugs, coolers, summer sheets and exercise rugs. Many of the smaller stable and turnout rugs will also be in this catgegory and we weigh every product to ensure you arent paying too much delivery charge.
Heavy Goods Delivery 2kg plus - £5.95
This band covers all other products that weigh over 2kg, and would also apply to orders with multiple products. The delivery charge of £5.95 is the maximum you will pay in the UK regardless of the number of products that you order.
International Deliveries - £30
While we ship to most European countries it is not often that we do so, and all delivery costs outside the UK are calculated on an individual basis based on location and weight. We apply a standard £30 charge at checkout for any delivery outside the UK but this will be amended once an accurate postage cost has been obtained. It is likely that you will receive a partial refund if we are shipping to Europe, and this refund will be completed once your order is dispatched. In the event that the £30 charge does not cover your order (usually outside Europe) we will request additional shipping costs before dispatch. It is advisable to check before ordering if you are outside the UK and we will be able to advise accordingly.
A Confirmation E-Mail will be sent to you once we have dispatched your order. This does not mean your order is going to be delivered within the next 24 hours, but simply means it has left our shop to be en route with the courier.
At present we do not use a service that is signed for. The delivery driver will usually leave in a safe place or with a neighbout should you not be at home. If a parcel is returned due to non delivery, additional delivery attempts may be chargeable.
We are pleased to let you know that delivery problems are very rare! However should there be a problem or delay with your order, the Second Hand Horse Rug Shop will do everything they can to resolve the issue in a speedy way. If your parcel does not arrive within a reasonable time then please get in touch ASAP either by email or phone. All parcel queries must be reported within 30 days from order date.
